Hello: My name is Ly Heang, an English speaking tour guide, Siem Reap, Angkor, Kingdom of Cambodia.

BIOGRAPHY: I was born in 1973 in Siem Reap province. In 1990, I attended the English private school in Siem Reap. I completed my high school education but had to give up my university study in Phnom Penh,the capital of Cambodia to help with my family. I grew up in a large family, 11 brothers and sisters, and I was the youngest in the family.

EXPERIENCE: In 1995 I worked as a motor-taxi driver for back-packer tourists. While working, I attended the tour guide school sponsored by the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism which I completed in 1997. Since then I have worked as an English speaking tour guide licensed by the Ministry of Tourism. I have enjoyed being a tour guide very much as it provides income to my family, and also gives me the opportunity to explain to tourists our culture. I have worked with many other travel companies: A & K (well known United States agency), Indochina Services, Exodus, Peregrine, amongst others.
Many of my past clients have urged me to open my own service to provide tour and guide services in Siem Reap. This allows me to provide

individual service for all my clients. It also allows my clients to feel good and have confidence in the tour guide they hire. We can work together to the satisfaction of the client and be as flexible as possible in meeting their needs.
